How soon in advance do I need to cancel my appointment?
Please be sure to send a note directly to MsK via email at contactMsk@gmail.com or the Contact page 24 hours before your scheduled appointment date & time.
how often would you recommend clients get a relaxer?
Hair should be retouched every 8 weeks. Please note however that you can extend the amount of time between your relaxer touch ups for longer than 8 weeks depending on new growth, preference, & manageability. Either way I would consult with a licensed professional stylist before any chemical service.
how often should a client get a trim?
A client can receive a trim from anywhere from 2-3 months. *Time frame varies per client & their hair care needs.
what is the DIFFERENCE between a rinse, lift & color, semi-permanent, &permanent color?
A rinse is a temporary hair tint.
Semi permanent contains no ammonia and deposits only lasting based on how often shampooed.
Permanent color works by interacting with the natural pigment of your hair and changing your hair’s structure until it grows out.
Lift depending on desired level of color we will bleach or a do a high left.
How long does a rod set last?
A rod set can last from anywhere from a week-2 weeks depending on the clients daily schedule/routines.
